I have watched Jon work through important local issues (he serves on the NAACP Executive Committee, Fredericksburg Branch). Jon is a hardworker who puts in the time.
I know him to be an excellent listener who is wise, and practical. Jon has a gift for working well with others. He diligently gathers information, talks with stakeholders, and knows how to quickly identify different options. I have seen how adept he is at finding creative, sensible solutions.
Jon is a consensus builder who, by his calm and polite demeanor, intelligence, and legal training, would be an excellent addition to City Council. I am proud to know him and I wholeheartedly support his run foran At-Large seat on City Council in the May 19th election. We need leaders like Jon.
