Rappahannock Climate Mobilization, a local section of The Climate Mobilization. created two sets of thought-provoking questions for response from all the candidates for Fredericksburg City offices.

The questions fell into two categories: General Issues (including COVID-19, improving wages, homelessness, schools and teachers and much more) and Climate Specific Issues.

I believe that improving our environment locally will involve endeavors that touch many other issues in the Venn Diagram besides the environment. Success will depend upon innovative solutions, consensus-building, strong leadership, and 21st Century thinking.

After much thought, reflection and research, I returned my answers to Rappahannock Climate Mobilization for their review.

But I felt there was value in sharing both documents with the voters of Fredericksburg, so I’ve also posted my responses here.
